The Mormon Stock Index tries to measure the stock market performance of companies run by Mormon executives; and the qualifications for the index are designed to meet that goal. More than 50 companies have been part of the index in its two year history, including more than 30 companies on the index today. The changes to the index have all come as we have discovered companies that meet the qualifications or as we discovered that companie on the index no longer meet the qualifications.

The qualifications are as follows:

• The company must have at least one executive who is Mormon or has Mormon heritage. This includes executives who grew up in Mormon families but no longer practice.
• The executive must be at the highest management level in the company -- the company's management committee or among those listed in SEC reports as part of the company management. Chairmen of the Board of Directors are included, but other board members who are not otherwise active in company management are not.
• The company must be listed on a public stock exchange -- including any public exchange worldwide.
• The company's market capitalization must be at least $100 million.
