Affiliated Computer Services provides technology consulting and outsourcing solutions to businesses and government. The company gained a Mormon executive in 1996 when it purchased Salt Lake City-based Unibase Technologies, subsequently renamed as ACS's Business Process Outsourcing division. That division now accounts for 48% of the company's revenues.

Unibase was founded, owned and operated by LDS Church members Lynn and Tom Blodgett. Lynn, who was head of Unibase, is an Executive Vice President at ACS and head of the Business Process Outsourcing division.
